What a great experience buying our new boat! We found the boat we wanted, visited with Guy and found out someone had already placed a contract on it. Guy was willing to accept us as a backup offer, and called immediately when the initial deal fell through so we could proceed. He made it super easy and was a man true to his word. The whole experience was perfect. Would definitely recommend buying a quality boat from him! Our first trip out on the boat we drove all the way to Saint Augustine and had an excellent day! No issues at all, and the boat drove perfect.

Please read the entire review, and view the photos, it will save you the trouble I had. I added a screen shot of the response from Consignment boat sales, since they will try to change it and save themselves some reputation.
STAY AWAY. I would give 0 stars if I could. I bought a boat that Guy assured me was looked over and in working order. Turns out there was more water than fuel in the fuel tank. I am now out thousands of dollars. He even said he would help me if I had issues, but when I had issues, I was left holding the bag. This man is just looking for a quick pay check. Do yourself a favor and go to a real boat dealer. Or at the very least, get a proper inspection from a trustworthy source. A complaint will be filed with the BBB.
Edit: Since Guy decided to respond I will add this. Engine repair from the water in the fuel tank was 1000 dollars. I need a new fuel tank, which needs to be capped in, which is over 1000 dollars. Last time I checked 1000 + 1000 = 2000, so how exactly does that not add up? I have the receipts to prove this. The mechanic at Atlantic coast marine said it is a miracle the water test was successful. That is the only thing that doesn't add up. but funny thing, I do not think I would put water in my newly bought boats gas tank, just to complain and be out a few thousand dollars? AS IS is correct on the contract, you verbally assured me you would help if I had issues. Sounds like something a used boat salesman would say just to make a sale. Buyer beware, AS IS means your are totally screwed when something is inevitably wrong with your boat, since they are not checked for any issues. Buy your boat from a reputable dealer, do not be swindled like i was. This happened because I trusted Guy, to some degree my own ignorance is to blame. I thought he was a good honest person, I thought wrong. I hope this post can save others their time and money. It would be the only good thing to come from all this.
Edit 2: I have added pictures of the receipt from Atlantic Coast Marine. As you can see my bill was 1900 dollars. I had 300 hr service done as well. This costs around 800 bucks. The rest was engine repair from this issue. Over $1300 in labor alone, because they had to clean the entire engine. Anyone can look up how much a new capped in gas tank costs. If your reading this do a quick google. Guy says repairs do not cost this much, so I am curious as how he came to that conclusion. This proves he either he has no idea what he is saying or he is purposefully deflecting, trying to save face. "25 yrs in business", I will leave you to decide. Either way it speaks volumes to his character. Stay away from consignment boat sales.

I have had Guy (owner) sell a boat for me years back and the experience was a “10”. I found a very nice boat that he was advertising and had no problem doing business with him and consignment boats again. This experience was even better than the first one. He and Cory were very knowledgeable, helpful and patient with all my questions and concerns. They both went above and beyond to make sure I was happy. I love doing business with good people. I highly recommend them without question.

I was looking to sell my boat but didn’t have the time or availability to showcase the boat myself. Thankfully I found Consignment Boat Sales and Guy. After reading thru so many of his 100+ reviews, I knew right away Guy was “The Guy” that could help me. Guy was incredibly thorough thru the entire process. He did an excellent job helping me sell my boat, in what I consider a tough market. The whole process from start to finish, couldn’t have been any easier. Recently purchased a boat with Guy at consignment boat sales. As a newer boater we had questions about the boat and the buying process and Guy was very helpful throughout. After the survey and sea trial we had some concerns and he listened to our concerns and addressed them in a timely manner and was very communicative along the way. We are very happy with our purchase and I would definitely refer anyone to purchase a boat here.

By far one of the best/nicest and easiest boat dealers I have ever worked with! Guy was extremely patient with all of the questions I had. Taylor was also extremely helpful in assisting with questions and prepping the boat for sale. All I was looking for was an honest dealer that didn't give me the run around or lie and try to hide things. Guy was very honest and straight to the point. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a boat.
